FOR AGES 5 TO 18

BACKGROUND

Stanford Badminton Academy, formally, The Stanford-le-Hope Junior Badminton Club, was first established in 1992.  The club was originally based at Hassenbrook School in Stanford-le-Hope but moved to Gable Hall School in Corringham in 1997. 

Stanford Badminton Academy caters for children as young as 5 years of age to young adults of 18. We have a wide range of abilities from beginners, to league and county standards. Stanford Badminton Academy also has direct links to the Badminton Essex South Performance Centre where our Coach also works on a weekly basis.

MEMBERSHIP

Stanford Badminton Academy is run on Saturday mornings during term times at Gable Hall School.  Membership at the club is £3.00 per session.  We politely request that membership is paid per half term, although this is not a necessity.

If a second or third member of the same family joins, the charge for them is reduced to £1.50 per session.  This is made possible because the club is run on a fully voluntary basis.
